remembering MassArt vol. 2

And some colored works.

A poster for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston, MA. The museum showcases European art, mainly from Italy, in a Venetian-Renaissance-style building. What you see on the poster is a view into the courtyard from the first floor. Architecture-wise it feels a bit like Las Vegas deluxe. (http://www.gardnermuseum.org/the_museum/introduction.asp)

Acrylic paint and digital color

An editorial illustration for an article in Northeastern University Magazine "Strangers in a strange Land" featuring problems of integration for immigrants from India to the U.S. Here is an Indian women losing her belongings in a very American environment. By the way, the scene takes place on congested Huntington Avenue in Boston. There's the "Green Line" of the local Subway system, there's the Duck Tours amphibian vehicle for tours in the Charles River Bay and there's a Boston-green taxi and a hint of omnipresent Red Sox.
